The Ranger Series itself was born from a collaboration:

*Adam Smith, professor at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), created the rugged, non-slip Ranger handle-built for grip and durability.

*Blackie Colins, a true innovator in the knife design, engineered the blade that locks automatically in both open and closed positions, backed up by a secondary slide-lock system for added safety.

What's Changing:

*We are discontinuing only the Collins-designed blade.

*The Ranger handle will continue to be produced and paired with future blade designs.
