Quality Knife-Meaning The Blade Is Properly Heat Treated, Ends Up Being Less Expensive In The End-Colonial Knife
I can't stand trolls either. I rarely buy import knives other than good quality but inexpensive European imports such as mora and the more basic victorinox swiss army knives. I agree heat treat is very important, a good heat treat can make cheaper steel far more useful and makes great steel amazing.
I found that buying something high quality with a good warranty will often end up cheaper in the long run because it won't need replacing. Helps since I live on a fixed income and I can't run out to buy replacements.
My interest in your knives started with your mk1 navy deck knife since my grandpa was a sailor during WWII. I will probably be buying one of your mk1 navy deck knives before a switch blade but I look forward to it buying one of your knives. I might be able to find a reproduction left hand sheath, a lot of the originals had a left hand sheath to keep the right side free for a side arm or whatever else. Don't worry about the email length, I enjoy talking about knives as much as i enjoy using a good quality knife. I also enjoy reading about some one who enjoys their work. Hope your weekend is going well.
