A believer in Jesus Christ dies and enters Heaven. Standing before the Lord, he asks,
"God, why did You allow slavery, war famine, disease-and people hurting one another?"
God replies,
"Why did you allow it?"
The message is simple but profound: We are our brother's keeper. God has given us the ability-and the responsibility-to stand against evil, to love one another, and to bringing light into the darkness. The question isn't just why God allows evil; it's whether we do.
